Welcome to the Balance Personal Training Services page.  We are the premier provider of fitness training in the Wilmington area.  Our goal is to always provide the highest level of training and deliver noticeable results for our clients.  Because of our high standards, our trainers are among the best in the business with over 50 years combined experience training hundreds of clients.  Please find a description of our complete service offering below.


Fitness Assessment

A complete fitness assessment will be conducted prior to the commencement of all personal training programs.  The fitness assessment includes:

  • Total Body Measurements
  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Body Fat Percentage
  • Estimated VO2 Max
  • Cardiovascular Endurance Testing
  • Muscular Endurance & Strength Testing
  • Posture Assessment

Personal Training

Balance Training Programs consist of individual one hour sessions with a Certified Personal Trainer. All trainers are certified by Nationally acredited and recognized associations and are current on CPR and First Aid certifications.   

All sessions are by appointment only at a time convenient for each client.  There are no monthly membership fees or contracts.  Clients may use cardio equipment on their own without an appointment.  Training Sessions include:

  • Cardiovascular Training
  • Resistance Training
  • Flexibility Training
  • Balance Training
  • Diet & Nutrition Counseling
  • Education on all aspects of health & fitness

Small Group Personal Training

Group training includes all of the same elements as our personal training sessions but is structured for small groups of 2 - 6 clients.  Working out with a friend or partner can spur motivation as well as being fun.  Small group classes are great for friends, co-workers, or bridal parties.


Group Fitness Classes

We are now offering Bootcamp group fitness classes run by our Certified Personal Trainers.  These 45 minute full body workouts are held both inside and outside and include:

  • Cardiovascular training
  • Resistance training
  • Plyometrics
  • Functional training
  • Rope, boxes, tires, steps, hurdles, and much more!
