Welcome to Balance Strength & Fitness Center, a locally owned and family operated gym, located in Wilmington Delaware. BSF is a clean, well equipped 5500 sq ft facility, that offers open memberships, personal training, and small group classes. Starting in 2001, we've been proudly serving the Wilmington community for over 20 years.
BSF is a gym that caters to any and every person, exercise style, and budget. We have a diverse array of services, equipment, and areas to accommodate any type of exercise training style and budget. From cardio machines, heavy iron, circuit machines, power racks and lifting platforms; to our 50 feet of grass turf. BSF has a gym layout that is optimal for multiple different styles of strength & fitness to coexist and train, in one facility. Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff are always ready and eager to assist our gym members, in anyway they can.

* Month-to-Month Memberships can be cancelled at anytime with 30 days notice
** 12 Month memberships are cheaper because member agrees to 12 month contract. Monthly dues paid each month, not required to pay up front for the year.

One on One Personal Training
BSF personal training programs are customized for each client based on their individual goals. Whether clients are interested in losing bodyfat, gaining strength, building muscle, sports conditioning, achieving a healthier, more active lifestyle, or a complete body transformation, the Balance personal training staff will work with each client to create and implement a fitness program that achieve results.
All sessions are by appointment only at a time convenient for each client. There are no monthly membership fees or contract (a BSF membership is not required for personal training services).

• Core Strength & Stability Training
• Diet & Nutrition Counseling
• Education on all aspects of strength & fitness
Partner & Small Group Training
We also offer small group training, which includes all of the same elements as our personal training sessions but is structured for small groups of 2–6 clients. Working out with a friend or partner can spark motivation, as well as being fun. Small group training is great for friends, co-workers, or bridal parties; still allowing for individualized attention but at a cost savings versus one-on-one training.

H.I.I.T. CLASS
Alternating periods of high intensity and low intensity exercise. Class lasts 45 minutes. Dynamic warmup, 30 minutes of intervals, and finishing with core work. All levels welcome.
STRENGTH & MUSCLE
Our Strength & Muscle class consists of 1 hour of weightlifting and muscle building. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners who are learning the basics, to experienced athletes looking for progression-based programming for strength or muscle building. Programs are individualized after the basic skill levels.
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU/ GRAPPLING
Focusing on fundamentals and basic skills development, our BJJ/ grappling class is a tough, but fun & rewarding class. Class is taught by purple belt with 7 years bjj experience, Scott McCarthy. Class limited to 5 students at a time, due to space restrictions
Boot Camp
One way to ensure a great start to your day, is to start it off with our morning Boot Camp class. With a mixture of high and low intensity cardio training, Boot Camp class utilizes our functional equipment and turf area. This class is a really fun and challenging workout, taught by BSF trainer Chris Sumo
